Art portfolio (3D Art piece) Part 2

Creating this sculpture, i was thinking of the possibilities of how i could have had this 3d work with a face. To bring out the real effect but i thought to my self that this should remain different because the symbolic idea would be there.

I began with red to make my faceless woman bright colours a range of colours. This was indeed decided on the spot as i was just intrigued with the way things went.

Went around the back to give it a proper touch and make sure i had this colour go round.

At the end i completed the blouse of the woman leaving me with the face and hair scarf.

A video to show process of how the painting of the blouse was done creatively.

Starting with the face was indeed very interesting for me because my practice on life drawing was very challenging to get along with. I really enjoyed this progress as i applied the use of water colour first to make sure there was an even tone then i began adding acrylic to blend in the colours around. My favorite part. Eventually, i moved on to the scarf and began with a stippling effect to create texture as the need arose i started to blend again .

After blending the scarf, i moved on to the blouse to give more detail so i applied a bit of orange to give it a blend. As i further moved on towards the bust area to add light to the folding of the cloth which was essential to give a good balance.

Finished with this 3d model, then it was time to create the background to give it a different view, which is considered to symbolic

THE FACELESS WOMAN
