Art portfolio 2 (Term 2)
Welcome to a remote term
In this term I would be working on a futuristic artwork which is meant to reveal what has bean happening in the real world. I would be creating sketches of human moods to relate to a state of depression of the on-going (COIVD19).
MY FIRST LANDSCAPE PAINTING
(MAJOR PROJECT 1)
THE CANVAS SKETCH
Firstly, I would love to reflect on my past works from last term. It has been a hilarious session for me as I found myself painting a series of and scape paintings which I really enjoyed as I made use of different mediums of painting with some new techniques. It was a completely new style for me painting on canvas.
From the beginning when I began, I was not so confident but as time went on I made a mess of things, and realized a new technique. This was in my major project 1
MY BEST WORK
I conside this as my best work because it gives a deep meaning to african history which i love. The story behind this art work is one of kind that shows how humans have discovered a new way to move on with nature as one.
THE STORY
In the recent days ruled by africans there were people whom peole called Massaihs this are ancient tribalistic people who have exsisted before the last word war.As life moved on when things improved and africans grew in the age of technology they stayed back. In Kenya, as every other african country they always wnt through the common desease of Maleria. In the mordern world they invented chemicals to act as an insectiside to reduce the level of Maleria patients. The Massaihs found the oldest naturl cure. A well known tree that lives in by the river side, with a branch broken it is used to prevent "mosquito". This is the insect that carries the Maleria prasite. The tree smells so similar t that of the chemical compound made by the (western people) 'morden people'. This is how they safe lifes in their own natural way.
