Art portfolio (reflection on 3d work)

REFLECTION

Creating this sculpture, i was thinking of the possibilities of how i could have had this 3d work with a face. To bring out the real effect but i thought to my self that this should remain different because the symbolic idea would be there.

Thinking about the pros an cons i would say in general that i am well pleased with the idea behind this sculpture as although, i was never sure it would turn out well enough. I am also thinking that the story of the faceless woman would not be complete without the painting behind it. This is what  makes it iconic. Although the way i think of it now would have been better if i used Photoshop to make the image of the woman appear uniquely small so it would fit the description. 

In the end using the moon figure was a measure made to bring the Faceless Woman to a reality because the moon effect brings that dream effect as she bends her neck thinking of the future.
